He was accompanied by his trusty sidekick, Boots Honeypie the american horse. Boots was taken away in the second and final episode for neglect and although Narwhal tried to readopt him, they were on to his abusive ways. Narwhal was accidentally deleted due to Kpopp installing an expansion and it erasing her save. His non-cannonical death is that the fire wasn't completley over, and the oven blew up killing him and the angry fireman.
